We tune pianos to A440Hz, known as concert pitch or standard tuning. All pianos since 1955 are tuned to A440Hz.

Minor repairs which can be done in your home include:

• Hammer re-alignment
• Re-centering of hammers, levers and dampers
• Sticking keys
• 'Dead' keys
• Bridle tape replacement
• Re-fitting loops
• Clicking noises
• Problems with pedals

These are only a few examples of problems that arise. The older the piano and the longer the time between repairs, the more common these problems become. It is important to keep both the inside and outside of your piano free of dust and other foreign objects that may fall between the action and the keys to keep your piano working properly.

Standard tuning is £90 with repairs assessed upon evaluation.
